Heidi, 77: Living Better with Parkinson’s Thanks to AtremoPlus

AtremoPlus Portrait – Heidi

Her story is that of a woman who grew up amid the turmoil of the GDR, had to reinvent herself in West German society, and was later faced with a Parkinson’s diagnosis. But her journey goes far beyond a simple fight against a disease – it is an inspiring tale of adaptation, perseverance, and hope.

A life in transition – from hardship to new hope

Heidi, born in 1947, carries within her a life rich in upheaval. She grew up in a small village between Cottbus and Dresden and experienced at a young age the turmoil of a divided Germany. In the GDR, she trained as a machinist and worked in wholesale – a period often marked by political restrictions.

“My mother fled to the West and left me with my grandmother,” she recalls. “That made our life in East Germany complicated.” It was a time when work was often hindered by political constraints. Heidi remembers her difficult beginnings, during a time when her family was on a “blacklist.”

In 1979, her request to leave East Germany was finally accepted. With her husband, she moved to North Rhine-Westphalia, where her mother and stepfather lived. “In the West, there were so many wonderful things we didn’t know in the East,” she says, laughing. She quickly adapted – whether working in a discount supermarket or as a production operator for refrigeration units. “There were so many things I didn’t know. I had never worked with electric motors or cooling systems, but I adapted and did a good job,” she says, with a faint smile that says much about her incredible ability to adapt.

An unexpected turning point: the Parkinson’s diagnosis

The major turning point in Heidi’s life came after hip surgery. “I had always been a good driver, but suddenly I noticed tremors and couldn’t drive like I used to. It worried me.”
A friend advised her to consult a clinic in Hesse, and that’s where she received the diagnosis: Parkinson’s disease.

“The tremor was the first symptom I noticed. At first, I thought it was something else – but then, everything happened very quickly.”
What weighed most on her was the loss of independence. Giving up driving meant giving up a piece of freedom.

After the diagnosis, the typical challenges followed quickly: loss of mobility, slower walking…

The discovery of AtremoPlus – a fresh start

In 2023, she came across AtremoPlus while browsing online – a natural dietary supplement based on standardized L-Dopa and natural Carbidopa, derived from the plant Vicia faba. Even though some friends around her were skeptical (“too expensive,” “not reimbursed”), Heidi made a firm decision:
“I told myself: my husband, may he rest in peace, spent a lot of money each month on cigarettes – and I’m worth a few exceptional expenses. Investing in my health is a form of self-respect.”

Just two weeks after starting, she noticed the first changes.
“I felt something begin to move again in my body,” she says. “Since then, I feel more balanced. The tremors have clearly diminished – almost completely gone.”
For her, the effect of AtremoPlus was not only noticeable but measurable.

Concrete improvements – more autonomy and a better quality of life

With regular intake of AtremoPlus, the positive effects continued. She is particularly impressed by the progress she has made in controlling her movements. The tremor in her left arm, which she previously couldn’t control at all, gradually diminished – today, it has almost completely disappeared.

Simple daily actions, which had become nearly impossible, became achievable again. She can now drink a cup of coffee or eat soup without spilling – a small change, but an essential one for her.

Her everyday autonomy has also significantly improved. “Before taking AtremoPlus, there were times when I had to get around in a wheelchair,” Heidi recalls. Once highly dependent, she can now dress herself – she only still needs help putting on her socks. Her walking has become much smoother.

Even exhausting tasks like thoroughly cleaning the bathroom have become manageable again. “I simply have more endurance than before,” she says.

Her progress is tangible: “I walk faster, move better, have more energy.” Even her cognitive abilities have improved. “My concentration is better, and my memory is clearer than before,” she notes.

Usage and dosage – start small, adjust gradually

Heidi a commencé à prendre le produit à l’aide de la petite cuillère doseuse pratique fournie dans le paquet. Au fil du temps, elle a adapté la posologie à ses besoins individuels et l’a augmentée à 10 g par jour. These adjustments reflect not only an established routine but also a sense of being able to manage the effect of AtremoPlus herself.

She also shares a practical tip: “I take AtremoPlus with applesauce. And I take it in the morning and afternoon – it helps me structure my day and spread out my energy.”

“When there were a few days without the powder, I immediately felt the difference: the tremors came back and I couldn’t walk normally anymore,” she says. These ups and downs – improvement followed by relapse – made her realize just how essential regular intake of AtremoPlus is to her well-being.
“Since then, I make sure I always have enough in stock at home,” she says with conviction.

Many AtremoPlus users – like Heidi – report that improvements often settle in progressively, yet clearly. Over time, they become almost natural, to the point of being forgotten. It’s only when the product is missing for a few days that one realizes just how great the difference is – and how effectively the plant-based L-Dopa/Carbidopa truly works.

An encouraging conclusion – patience and trust in the process

Heidi now lives with her daughter in Austria. One of the most memorable moments of recent years was a trip to the Ticktaler glacier, organized by her daughter.
With her walker, accompanied by kind people, she reached 4,000 meters in altitude.
“The weather was beautiful. And it’s a moment I will always remember.”

Her message to others with Parkinson’s is filled with warmth and insight:
“I hope I can convince someone to give it a try. You need a bit of patience because the effects are not always immediate – even though, for me, they came quickly. But I’m convinced that AtremoPlus will continue to work well and help me in the future.”

Even her neurologist, initially skeptical, ended up impressed by her progress. “But I felt like she couldn’t believe nature could help so effectively,” Heidi says with an amused smile. “But she’s about to retire, I’ll have to find a new neurologist.”

“AtremoPlus has significantly improved my quality of life, and I hope others can experience the same,” she concludes.

A life with new momentum

Heidi’s journey shows that progress is possible, even with Parkinson’s. Her courage to try new paths, her openness to natural solutions, her determination not to give up – all make her story one of hope. Despite the challenges that Parkinson’s disease brings, she has managed to regain control of her daily life and sustainably improve her quality of life.

AtremoPlus may not be a miracle cure – but for her, it has become a true companion on the journey.
